Sigelei 20 Wat...
Great value for money
Posted by Unknown on 31st Aug 2014
There are plenty of YouTube reviews that rave about this product, which any interested buyer should seek out. My own experience is also very positive, having used the Sigelei 20W for a couple of months now. This truly is as good as the hype, being a solid quality, technologically advanced, affordably priced device.
Coming from a three button world, I was unsure how I would take to the single-button Sigelei, but found it became second nature within hours of use. The gravity sensing/tilt mechanism is actually very useful, and does not feel gimmicky. The general build quality is solid, although the finish around the edges of the button has begun to wear off rather quickly (the button is plastic with a metallic coating). I did find the spring on the battery tube to be extraordinarily tight in the first few weeks, but has softened to a more manageable tension over time. The threading on the battery cap is very crunchy, but all other threads are silky smooth.
The screen is just about readable in bright sunshine, and contains all the information directly on screen that you should want. The menu system is incredibly simple and user friendly, with the only option being to set the power, exit the menu ir power the system down. Users should be aware that attempting to vape at a wattage lower than can be supplied by the battery results in the power being automatically increased to the minimum possible voltage. I.e. there is no 'step down' feature.
This device was my first purchase from Eciggity, and I could not be happier. The shipping time from Hawaii to midwest USA was around four days; perfectly acceptable. I was disconcerted that there was no user manual with the device, however, after seeing the user manual elsewhere, I really wasn't missing anything important.
You will not be disappointed by this device nor the service from Eciggity.
Overall good with one flaw
Posted by Drew on 26th Jul 2014
I'm going to start with the flaw because it's really annoying. Sometimes when firing, it fires at a higher wattage than I have the device set for, giving a horrible burnt taste. I've noticed some (infrequent) instances when when giving 5 clicks to get into the menu screen, the wattage setting jumps all over the place instead of staying at my setting, so I've not only experienced it with taste, I've seen it on the screen. That said, it doesn't happen often, but it does happen and I've seen it happen on another person's device also. OK, that aside it performs well and I use it daily. I've run as low as 0.7ohms on it just fine. It fires every time. The menu is simple and intuitive. Everything I've put on it has made a connection thanks to the springy center pin. No airflow issues with 510 toppers. It's a good looking device imho. All it needs is a capable battery and you're set! (don't use cheap-o batteries in this) At high wattages it will drain a battery quickly, as will any high wattage device, so have a spare charged and ready.
best bang for your buck, minor quality control issues
Posted by justin on 24th Jul 2014
Amazing VV/VW device, uses DC rather than PWM which is flipping awesome. The quality issues I refer to are 1. My batter tube interior had nasty scratches on the inside? 2. The firing button occasionally gets stuck. Other than those two minor inconveniences this is the best vv/vw device you can get for your money. Would definitely suggest buying the sigelei 30w if you plan on going sub ohm below .6 though.

Fantastic device, durable and packed with features! I love having all my information available on the SX200 chip display! A bit heavy in the hand but feels good, make sure your wearin' a belt or some good fitting pants, this things got some heft even w/o the battery. Boris 'The Blade' Yurinov always said: 'Heavy is good, heavy is reliable. If it doesn't work you can always hit them with it.' ..the gun he referred to was shite but in this business a bit of heft can provide a bit more durability and longevity.
The screen can scuff so be careful not to put like materials or harder density than it in your pocket. Shouldn't be hard to remove them with a little bit of elbow grease and the right materials but should be noted.
Allows use of Ego when removing the top beauty ring when not using 510 connections.
Not a lot of people do it, but I have a Vapor charm on a rubber o-ring (some e-liquid companies provide these around their bottle necks). I used the Rubber O ring and put a dragon on mine from an old broken Mala I made. I mention this because there's a little notch above the screen this seems to be made for this.. nice touch..
Somewhat squeaky threads but solid and durable, holding them right and applying the right pressure reduces this but is inescapable on the battery entry. Not a con..
Love it, what can I say.. why-tf by an OHM reader when I can buy this and then a Mechanical mod next?
Keep up the vapor capor!

I recieved this product and was very impressed with it right out of the box. Very heavy, and feels solid. Performance of it was great, and having a floating pin all of my attys fit. Then after a month of owning this product it started falling apart. The pressure rings fitting the head to the battery body kept sliding off a hair, so I would have to press them back together all the time. Im guessing its from the amount of pressure the bottom spring puts on it pushes it out, and if it pushes far enuf will create a short and charge causing the body to get extremly hot. SAFETY HAZZARD!! And also the screen has lines going through it and I cant really read what it says. So to sum up, this device is way over priced for its quality, and in my opinion should be pulled because of the safety hazzard that can truthfully happen at any time.

I have to say that I am impressed with Eciggity! Fast shipment and great prices. I purchased the Sigelei 20W just to see what the fuss was about and I have to tell you it is a great vape. As a matter of fact I purchased a second one not long after I got the first one and then followed it up with a Seven 22. I like the simple simon menu system and I like being able to throw almost any topper on it. Currently running an Protank II with the Aerotank air control on one (2.4 Ohms) and a dual coil Trident (0.7 Ohms) on the other running 7 watts and 18 watts respectively. The fit and finish is good with the threads being a bit squeaky (nothing that a bit of Noalox didn't fix) and there are a number of other battery tubes available if the stock 18650 tube is either too big (18350/18500) or not big enough (26650). All in all a great purchase.
MY favorite mod.
Posted by Unknown on 27th May 2014
First I would like to say that eciggity has great customer service and the delivery times are the best I've had since I started to vape. That being said this mod has become my go to mod. I have it with me at all times and it's a champ. I got it about a month ago and have not been disappointed. Threads are smooth, fit and finish are top notch. If I have one complaint it's that you can't go below .6 Ohm's on your build even though it says .5 Ohm's. but that's okay by me. I have used my Fogger 4.0, my RSST and my kracken on it and they work great. From a 2.4 ohm build all the way down to a .61 ohm build no problems. I would recommend this vv mod to anyone.
I stopped smoking because of the Sigelei

I never would have thought I would grab my self one of these gadgets, as they were always sub-par. A buddy of mine happened to pick himself one up for his birthday, and just so happened to be in town long enough to hang out with him and to experience the awesomeness of the Sigelei 20w. I instantly fell in love with it, the power of the rips, the design, and it seemed a lot of people were really happy with it. So I picked myself up one and I have to say...still very happy with the purchase.
decent starter mod/at home mod
Posted by Unknown on 25th May 2014
This mod is hefty. I for one enjoy a mod with some heft to it. It doesn't feel top heavy which I find with other lighter mods which is a pro for me. The SX200 chip in this device seems to work fairly well. I do notice a drop off when the battery gets about half way which isn't really unexpected but it seems to be a bit more than it should be. The threads are rough in this mod, and on top of that the spring on the bottom is large and thick. It prevents battery rattle, yes, but also makes screwing the device back together not the easiest task in the world. If the threads were cleaned up better and that spring wasn't so tight, I would have pumped it up to a 4 instead of a 3.
Save money over a DNA 20
Posted by Scott on 29th Apr 2014
Low ohm limit is actually.65 not.5. Other than that this thing is solid. I don't know why so many people dislike the gravity sensor. It works flawlessly with just a slight tilt. No need for extra buttons to wear out. Shaking the unit produces absolutely no rattle. The metal is quite thick so it is a little heavy. Using a aerotank with 32g twisted micro coil with cotton. The best flavor you are going to get without a dripper. Kayfun lite works like a charm as well. I've already converted 4 evic and vtr users to this mod. Not for extreme sub ohming. If you want a mod for that, wait until we start seeing the sx-350 chip on the market(should be soon). It's going to be a DNA 30 killer.
Finally! An APV with all the bells and whistles.........
Posted by Unknown on 29th Apr 2014
I have been vaping for about a year, taking the normal road of beginning with eGos and then moving into VV/VW APVs. I have been through tons of cheap APVs (Vamo V2s, Vamo V3s, Innokin VTR, Innokin SVD). I shorted a couple of the Vamos out changing batteries. Screwing the battery cap on while the posts were touching causes a short that fried the units. Stripped the 510 threads on another. Got the VTR and was in love with it............for a little while. Mine was a V1 with the rotating wheel. After 5 months, the 510 threads stripped. Picked up the SVD as a replacement to get me through the day until a suitable replacement could be found. Never really liked the SVD. Too many buttons, located all over the place. The firing button became 'mushy' after a few weeks and really takes a lot of pressure to engage. So, with earnest, I begin my search. Thankfully, the Sigelei 20W had just released. I LOVE IT. Nice fluid diameter (no telescoping tubes of differing diameters which I find ugly and annoying). I found the tilting menu system easy to get used to. Not that I am in it much. The 20W is awesome. I am not using it for the power (yet). I will be soon but I initially picked it up as a replacement for my normal VV/VW APV. Battery life is good. Menu is awesome. Floating 510 center pin. Threading is nice (although the threads on the battery cap feel a little thin and a little rough - time will tell how it holds up). Enough has been written about any possible negatives (menu being hard to see in daylight/sunlight, menu going dark after firing instead of staying lit for a few seconds, going back to 10W after a battery change, etc). I don't find these difficult to deal with.
Every other APV I have owned felt flimsy, shabby and cheap from day one (with the exception of the VTR until it developed its Achilles heel). My 20W feels like a quality device and I fully expect it to be working 6 months, 1 year, 2 years from now unlike every other APV that I have owned so far. We will see. (that is the reason I am only giving 4/5 instead of 5/5 - thus far, my expeirence has been a 5/5 but perhaps no fault of the 20W and rather because of all the junk I have owned previously, I am reserving the 5th star due to longevity concerns).
I have used my 20W EXCLUSIVELY since it arrived. It is my all day device, and gets a battery change EVERY day. It is GREAT. EXACTLY what I wanted in an APV and did not find until now.
I love my 20W. I couldn't be happier with it.

Great regulated Mod! Wanted a Mod to power my dripper and the Sigelei 20W did the trick and then some. Worth it for sure!

I enjoy this mod. it's responsive, very easy to use, and it VAPES AT 20W!!!! wonder what the 722 has on it.

Great construction, lightweight and packs the power of 20 watts. It's all good.
Another Sigelei home run
Posted by S. M. Hewitt on 21st Apr 2014
I have a DNA20 and a DNA30 device, and a couple of Sigelei Legends, which I swear by. This one, after only a little bit of time with the device, stands up with all of 'em. The price is nice, and the service and comms from eciggity was good, the device itself is splendid.
Great Mod but I got a Defective Unit
Posted by Louis Piezzo on 21st Apr 2014
I got my 20W last week and was very impressed with it's performance. Vaped great with a 1.0 ohm coil at just over 12 watts. On the second day it stopped working because the battery shorted out the device. Eciggity customer service was awesome. They send a shipping label the day after I reported the issue and will replace the unit. This is a company you want to deal with for sure.
Best deal in VW devices.
Posted by Jerome on 20th Apr 2014
Excellent build quality. Looks great and performs awesomely. I got tired of looking for a DNA20 device to replace my tired Vamo 2. It performs well, it's affordable, and most importantly, it's available right now. Aside from the performance, I love that I can see the condition of my battery. Use the best 18650 and you'll be very happy. Threw out my Trustfire flames and switched to Orbtronic 18650s.
Excellent VV Device
Posted by Russ from Long Island on 17th Apr 2014
If you are looking for a reasonably priced high-end VV divice, then this is it. I absolutely love this Sigelei. I cannot rave about this VV enough. Easy to use. Buttery smooth threads. Great appearance. What more do you want? It was shipped within days. It is now my go-to device.
Posted by Adrian Broadnax on 16th Apr 2014
This device is incredible! It is stable down to 0.5 ohms and works every time you press the button. So easy to operate that it is almost instinctual. I cannot imagine needing any other VV/VW or mechanical mod. Being able to increase and decrease the voltage has allowed me to make mediocre ejuices taste great! If you pass on this one you will kick yourself. Even the shipping way great!
my favorite device to use with my rda
Posted by Rob on 16th Apr 2014
this variable wattage regulated device is awesome. it's affordable and very appealing to the eye (or to mine at least). all the threads were smooth and not a scuff on it when I first opened the package. the only knock I have on the device is that the manufacturer claims that it can use as low as a 0.5 ohm build but it may ignite one time and then say low resistance or not ignite at all and say low resistance. it needs a 0.6 ohm build or even a 0.7 ohm build but with a regulated 20 watts it really doesn't matter because you're still going to get the vapor production you want from a 1.0 ohm build or higher. so if you purchase this device just know that simple fact first and build your rda or whatever you're using accordingly but I think you'll be just as satisfied as me with this great product!
Best Variable wattage device I have used this far.
Posted by Unknown on 12th Apr 2014
This is the best VW mod I have used thus far. I love the method of tilting it to get the wattage to change compared to the v3 which you have to click to death to change. The best thing about it is the spring loaded center pin on the battery connector. Every tank sits solidly on the base and there is no gap or wobble between them. The only downside to it is that it's variable wattage only. the Sigelei legend is almost the same device only vv/vw with the option to use it as a usb battery pack to charge other devices.
best device yet!!
Posted by Unknown on 11th Apr 2014
This is a solid device, great deal for the cost and would recommend to anyone that is looking for a variable wattage device with some real power.
Awesome regulated MOD
Posted by Aaron on 1st Apr 2014
I can't say enough good things about this mod. This thing vapes like a dream. I've used many devices @ a much higher price point that doesn't even come close to touching the Sigelei 20W! This thing hits hard from the first vape till the last. It gives excellent consistent power to your atty. Highly recommend this device to anyone. You can save 10% by entering twisted420 in the coupon box also.

very powerful, great pv,

I am pleasantly surprised at this siegelei, handles everything I've tried. Runs my 1.2 ohm taifun, and kayfuns, works great on my .7 ohm genny. Couldn't ask more from a regulated mod. We'll maybe variable voltage mode. But hey, it shows the voltage needed on the screen which makes it easy to change the wattage to match the desired voltage.
It's a bit long, but hopefully they come out with an 18500 tube soon.
One more thing I've noticed, is it doesn't go below battery voltage very well. It does but isn't very consistant, unless you're running at 3.8 volts or higher.
We'll worth the 100$
Works as advertised. You won't be dissapointed.

This is my first mod coming from an iTaste v3 and an ego stick-battery. And Eciggity was quick on the shipping (from Hawaii to Michigan!!). Others are giving it mixed reviews on the sub-ohm build, and I have yet to try it on my RSST. Around one ohm is my sweet spot, and the Sigelei 20w hits jussst fiine.
It's a solid regulated device and has battery protection. Between that and the shipping time, I couldn't have asked for more.
Hits like a freight train
Posted by Nick Del Duca on 29th Mar 2014
I came from an Itaste SVD and a mech mod to this and let me tell you... This is in a whole class of it's own. It hits like a champ. There is nothing like vaping a RDA at 18w with a 1 ohm coil. Not even my mechanical mod can compete with this!! This thing tears it up! I also really like the battery display and the ohms display on the screen. I love knowing exactly how much battery I have left. I was also worried it wouldn't work with my old batteries but I haven't had any issues. I have some Samsung 2600mah's and some Panasonic 3400 mah's. Build quality on this is great. It feels like a much better built device than my SVD or my Magneto mechanical mod. It feels solid.
My only con is I wish you could change the vape time so you could take longer pulls.
Posted by Unknown on 27th Mar 2014
First, eciggity.com shipped and delivered my product on time. Excellent Mod. Excellent Product. It can do 20 watts, but you lose too much flavor so 10w to 13w works for me. Been using it with a Nautilus Aspire filled with Tennessee Cured . I'm good. It's very easy to use. As for adjusting the wattage, I like being able to tilt it instead of having to click click click for the setting i want. Looks great too. Satin finish is very easy on the eyes. LED screen is bright. Worth every penny. I highly recommend. New to vaping, so I wanted something easy to use. I don't think about or want a cigarette anymore.

Matched with my Kay fun 3.1 it's my go to device. It performs just as good as it looks.
This Is A Great Mod

Better than spending over $250.00 on a DNA boz mod made to scratch 30 seconds after you open the box. Very high quality excellent threading on this device. Would highly recommend.
So Far So Good!!!
Posted by Joe on 22nd Mar 2014
So far this mod has been working great. 0.7 Ohms to 2.6 no problem. Thinking of buying another.
Great mod but inaccurate limits
Posted by Jim on 19th Mar 2014
I'm loving this mod so far. BUT, every 0.5 ohm coil I have put on it so far just flashes LOW OHMS when trying to fire it. Ohm reader shows 0.56, and the mod shows 0.5, which is within the advertised range, yet it will not fire.
This vv/vw mod is insanity at its best!
Posted by Sean Powless on 17th Mar 2014
This thing produces insane vapes on everything I have attached it to, it truly excels at sub ohm RBA builds. Massive clouds, very solid mod, next generation technology and has made all of my gear to date obsolete. Sigelei 20w, Sony 18650VTC4, Prometheus Clone (Tobeco) w/ cotton wicks & dual 28g micro coils @ .7 ohms = VAPING HEAVEN! Eciggity are extremely fast shippers and support is great too.
